Zaynah’s journey began with completing her BSc in Psychology from Coventry University, followed by an MSc in Applied Psychology, which equipped her with advanced skills in research, data analysis, and understanding human behaviour.
Early in her career Zaynah gained hands on experience as a support worker and a teaching assistant, where she worked closely with neurodivergent children, developing tailored intervention strategies and collaborating with educational psychologists to support their development.

As a Clinical Director at a children’s residential home, Zaynah combines this unique blend of clinical insight, compassionate care and operational expertise to oversee and enhance care delivery.
At NAE, we implement a therapeutic parenting model centred on a trauma-informed approach. This framework is essential for supporting the well-being of children who have faced trauma, allowing our dedicated staff to build meaningful relationships with young people. Here’s why our approach is crucial:
By fostering open communication among staff and sharing insights about each child, we gain a holistic view that informs effective and personalised treatment plans. We are committed to providing a nurturing and empowering environment where every child can heal, thrive, and build a brighter future.
